| Doctors and Gym Leaders are classes that must be obtained sometime in playing the RPG. Because of the benefits these two classes are allowed, obtaining either one of these classes is not going to be easy by any means.
Obtaining Gym Leader Status
In order to obtain Gym Leader status, you will need to have certain requirements met.
-Aspiring Gym Leaders must have at least two Gym Badges (this obviously means you must be a trainer) -Must pass both a written and battle examination
There will be an application for this exam that must be filled out. There is an application fee of £2500. Yes this is not cheap but considering the benefits allowed by Gym Leaders, a dedicated person will find it worth the price. The written portion of the exam will contain a series of questions (multiple choice, T/F & short answer format). Questions for the exams differ between applicants. If you fail either portion of the test you must retake the exam. There is no fee for the 1st retake. Failing the Gym Leader exam twice in row means you will have to wait two weeks and then apply again (fees included). A 3rd failure means two months of waiting before you can apply to take the exam again.
Becoming a Doctor
Doctors are similar to Gym Leader in that an examination must be passed in order to obtain the status. But Doctors have other requirements to achieve the status as well.
-A written examination (same format as Gym Leader), must be passed. -As explained in the classes pages, you will need certain number of missions completed as a Junior Nurse. You must complete 10 missions that require either treating a sick Pokemon or healing an injured Pokemon. This must be done BEFORE you take the written exam. -After you've achieved your Doctor status, you will be required to role-play at least twice that week exercising your abilities as a doctor.
If all these are completed, you will be officially awarded the status of Doctor. You will have your name changed to have the Dr. prefix on it to show you have completed all requirements. Please note the fee for the examination is £4000.
